There comes a moment, most often unexpected and sometimes quietly sacred, when you realize something is complete. A cycle has run its course. A chapter is closing. You’ve outgrown the old skin, the familiar rhythm, the worn-out version of yourself. As bittersweet as endings can be, they’re also awesome invitations. Invitations to step into something new, to cross a threshold where your heart beckons and your deeper truth whispers, “You’re ready.”
You see, what I have come to know, is that endings aren’t failures. They’re my soul’s way of creating more living space or maybe better put, space for living. It’s kind of like pruning back the dead branches (my husband’s favorite task) so new growth can emerge. You don’t let go of something because it was all wrong, you release it because you’re evolving. What once fit, no longer does (and I’m not referring to clothes here although letting go of some out of my closet would be a good idea.)
Endings and beginnings… here you stand, one foot in the past, one stepping forward with your heart pounding. Maybe you’re even a little unsure, but willing. Here in lies the key… your intent and willingness to trust that what’s calling you forward is bigger than what you’re leaving behind.
Beginnings are rarely tidy. They don’t arrive with clear roadmaps or guarantees. They come wrapped in a mystery, ask for faith, and demand fire. They ask you to leap before you’re ready, to believe in outcomes your logical mind can’t yet see, and to honor the voice inside you that says, “This is mine to do and it’s time to do it.”
Recognize any of this? Does it look, sound, or feel familiar?
Crossing a new threshold means reclaiming your power. It’s the moment you stop asking for permission and start showing up fully, fiercely, and unapologetically, as the person you are becoming. It isn’t about fixing yourself or perfecting your path. It’s about aligning yourself with your true essence and letting your authenticity be enough.
This is where the bad ass opportunities begin to show up.
When you say yes to the unknown, yes to growth, yes to healing, yes to becoming…something sacred inside shifts. Doors open that you didn’t even know were closed. Opportunities rise from the ashes of what you thought was lost. Your courage gets louder than your fear, and suddenly, you’re not just surviving, you’re soaring.
I think this has been my hero’s journey for the past six weeks and I am almost across the threshold, and I am ready for the new, the different, the becoming ahead of me.
This isn’t about ego or hustle. This is my own sacred, soulful badassery. The kind that’s rooted in my truth, in my purpose, in alignment with my spirit. The kind that emerges when I dare to trust the journey, even when I can’t see where it’s taking me.
Maybe you’ve been walking through a season of uncertainty, shedding old identities, letting go of people, places, things, roles, or routines that once defined you. Maybe you’re standing at the edge of something vast and unfamiliar. AWESOME and congratulations. That means you’re right where you’re meant to be in this very moment.
What lies ahead is more than just the next thing, it’s the real authentic thing. It’s the kind of life that reflects the wisdom you’ve earned, the strength you’ve cultivated, and the joy that’s always been yours to claim. Are you ready?
Are you standing at the threshold of a new day, a new dream, a new journey?
Deep breath here. Bless what’s ending and thank it for what it has taught you. Now turn your face toward the rising sun of what’s next. You’ve come too far to play small now.
The door has been pushed open and the threshold awaits. The path is yours, and the outcome filled with an abundance of opportunities? What are you waiting for?
