On this longest day in the sun’s highest flight
The night sky bright in strawberry moonlight
My heart connected to the heartbeat of the Mother
As wisdom whispers through the voice of drums
To the luminous light that unites all who come
Great Spirit, God/Goddess Creator of All
Bring the blessings of Your Light into my heart
Through the silent beauty of this longest day
When the sun marks summer and stays up to play
With the Strawberry Moon as she rises full
Filling the night with her luminous glow
On this Solstice morn in the warm embrace
Of summer’s breath and moonlit grace
Each ray of light a golden tread
Weaving my dreams with prayers in skies overhead
I see in every dawn a promise born
In strawberry patches and fields of corn
I hear the birds rise early with songs of praise
To the blazing heat of summer days
While rivers beckon us come to play
In harmony may we find our way
To friendship, love and laughter clear
Celebrating the return of summer here
The earth is so precious fertile and sweet
Echoing rhythms of newborns and garden treats
We gather in circles hand in hand
Giving thanks for the Light and our abundant land
Hearts wide open, spirits high
We honor Thee and the earth, sea and sky
In water I swim, in sunlight I sow
Reveling in nature’s endless flow
May this season’s light ignite your simmering souls
Guiding you with its radiant glow
To cherish, to nurture, to love and to share
The blessings of summer everywhere
Let loose your celebration of this longest day
in a ripening season as all things grow up and away
In the light of abundant work joy and play
Let fierce unending hope fill your summer days

As an Elder, Teacher and Entrepreneur, Spiritual Coach, Ordained Minister and Crafter of Sacred Art and Tools, Vicki perceives life’s journey as an ever-upward spiraling ascension of the human spirit leading her to wisdom, wholeness and authenticity.
Her experience includes being trained in the Harner Method of Shamanic Counseling and the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition of Cross Cultural Shamanism. She is a Graduate Teacher and Mentor with the Lynn Andrews Center For Sacred Arts and Training and has been the Administrator and Writers Guide for Writing Spirit, the School.
Vicki is also an Artist of the Spirit Certified Spiritual and Energetic Life Coach, a Graduate Mentor in the AoS program and a founding member of HeatherAsh Amara’s Warrior Goddess Leadership Team and Facilitator of the Warrior Heart Practice.
