This week got away from me. I was so wrapped up in tying all the little pieces together to get The Quiet In-Between uploaded, the printer kickstarted and the books ready to sign and send off the first of February. That time just flew by.
As if my calendar hadn’t already gotten away from me, my eye doc started me on a new light therapy that requires nine visits to him over the next three weeks. I think I am meeting myself coming and going these days.
Here’s the hard part about losing control of your calendar. You get behind, stacked up, forgetful and well… just plain crazy. That’s where I found myself this past week. I have chosen to participate in two very different giveaway programs, designed to get my work out in other people’s worlds and turns out they are happening on top of each other.
My old mind was sure they were a week apart or two, and then bingo! Here came all the ‘what to do now’ instructions and reminders and yikes, here I am on Thursday night burning the midnight oil playing catchup.

Her experience includes being trained in the Harner Method of Shamanic Counseling and the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition of Cross Cultural Shamanism. She is a Graduate Teacher and Mentor with the Lynn Andrews Center For Sacred Arts and Training and has been the Administrator and Writers Guide for Writing Spirit, the School.
Vicki is also an Artist of the Spirit Certified Spiritual and Energetic Life Coach, a Graduate Mentor in the AoS program and a founding member of HeatherAsh Amara’s Warrior Goddess Leadership Team and Facilitator of the Warrior Heart Practice.
