I Go Rushing Towards the Edge Of The Cliff…
“Whooaaa Nellie,” I cried, as I pulled back on the reins and pushed my feet forward in the stirrups sitting deeper into the saddle as we approached the edge of a cliff.
That’s how life has felt this past week. I go rushing towards the edge of a cliff, not sure if I would stop, or if I was going over, or if I could spin a U-turn and gallop off in a new direction.
Interesting how life comes up at us so fast it sometimes feels like we’re smashing through a plate glass window when we thought the path was clear ahead.
I don’t have a lot to write this week as I settle into grief, and joy, and sadness, and exaltation, and friendships, and rekindled connections, and harsh realities, and beautiful new dreams.
I guess that really just about says it all. Plowing through plate glass windows, bailing off cliffs, and flipping U-turns in the middle of the day when the dream goes a different direction.
I am wishing you all a most glorious weekend.
May joy rise up to greet you and carry you through any sadness that comes your way, through any grief thrown down on your path, and may you always remember that you have family, and friends, and acquaintances, and circles within circles, to sustain you when the day gets hard.

Her experience includes being trained in the Harner Method of Shamanic Counseling and the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition of Cross Cultural Shamanism. She is a Graduate Teacher and Mentor with the Lynn Andrews Center For Sacred Arts and Training and has been the Administrator and Writers Guide for Writing Spirit, the School.
Vicki is also an Artist of the Spirit Certified Spiritual and Energetic Life Coach, a Graduate Mentor in the AoS program and a founding member of HeatherAsh Amara’s Warrior Goddess Leadership Team and Facilitator of the Warrior Heart Practice.
