In the Flow of Gratitude

In the Flow of GratitudeWhere do I begin? It’s a question that has lingered in my mind more times than I care to count. Where am I?

Can I clearly name the vision I hold for my life? Am I actively living it, shaping my reality with grateful intentions?

I wanted to write with hope and positivity as this week of chaos, negativity, and seemingly hopeless situations circle the globe.

Instead, I find myself wondering where I start, and does what I do or think even matter? I should just keep it to myself and try to be my best self AND of course, who shows up for the pity party but Doubt and Resistance. Old friends for sure, but last time they visited, I ask them to stay away longer, like for maybe months, even years, instead of weeks or just days.

Here I am… as one teacher would say, right where I am supposed to be at this very moment. Can I clearly name the vision I held for myself in January? Not anymore, 2024 has proven to be a challenge; physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally.

But… with gratitude I welcome each day, grateful to wake up, stand up, and move forward in what ever fashion the day wears.

I choose me, intentionally and I choose to embrace each challenge as the teacher that it is and remind myself to look deeper into the chaos for the hidden messages, to look beneath the struggle for the magic, and to always be grateful for the mystery that will eventually reveal itself.

The journey continues whether I embrace it or not. Why not find the silver lining, the pot at the end of the rainbow, and the love that exists all around if I am brave enough, strong enough, and vulnerable enough to find it.

I remind myself that “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” And that I can “Eat an elephant, one bite at a time.” These wisps of wisdom remind me that the path to my tomorrows and my dreams unfolds one step, one action at a time. More importantly, it all begins with gratitude.

This same truth applies to living a life aligned with my deepest purpose. The power lies within me. I am the one who chooses when to take that first step, which direction to move in, and which bite to take today. Each step, each decision brings me closer to living intentionally and gratefully creating the change I want to see in my life.

So today, I’m taking a moment to reflect. I’m asking myself, “What is my passion? What is my purpose for today?” One day at a time, I let the answers rise naturally.

Do these two things align? Can I envision a life where my passion fuels my purpose, where every intentional action I take is infused with gratitude?

I take a deep breath. As I exhale, I release these pesky doubts that come up with the bigger vision. Instead, I see myself living gratefully and with passion and purpose, intentionally crafting my life each moment with each opportunity and each challenge tossed my way.

I feel immense gratitude for this beautiful, unfolding journey. As I hold the vision, I ask for the right opportunities and people to enter my life—those who will support, encourage, and assist me along the way.

I seek the counsel of prayer and accept the wisdom of my council of helping spirits and animal allies. I gratefully embrace the prayers offered on my behalf and send my prayers for myself, my family, my tribe, my community, my country, and my world to the ears of all the Divine Beings of Love and Light the surround and protect us all.

I remind myself that I hold the key to my own destiny, and I choose to live with gratitude as my foundation, intentionally knowing that with each step, my vision becomes my reality as I live the tomorrow I dreamed about yesterday.

May you all find your foundation, deepen your faith, pursue your fondest dreams and desires. Let hope be your guiding light and faith your companion along the way.

In Gratitude and With Many Blessings to each and every one of you reading this today, I say Thank You!
