Let Life Unfold

Let Life Unfold

Let Life UnfoldThe past week or two has been a journey of just letting…. Letting life unfold and experiencing the journey with all the fun, frustration, pivots, and pals encountered along the way.

Still giggling about the “bers” and determined to sharpen the focus out of the “blurs” for the rest of the year. Sometimes this growing up and growing old and just plain growing every day can be a challenge that feels like I’m going backwards and then… a cardinal shows up and takes my breath away with its splendid coat of red and sharp eye twinkling in my direction.

It is always funny how we go away for some much-needed R&R only to return home to rest up from the journey. Ya gotta love it, the twists and turns that make our lives interesting, challenging, exciting and well, life.

Home again to a wagging tail and much needed puppy love, a clean house (yeah) and freshly mowed lawn. Life is good.

Every step on our path is a meaningful one, even the ones that feel like we are trekking backwards. Lessons come in all shapes, sizes, and colors…there is no one size fits all in this journey we call life.

Tired, frustrated, stuck sometimes, I just have to remind myself that before I know it, inspiration will hit, I will be back on the horse speeding up my steps and looking back at the last pivot, knowing it was what I needed to get me where I am today.

If you are in the midst of one of those sacred pivotal moments, rest, nurture you and know that in the end, it was needed in order for you to ultimately get where you want to go and achieve that dream. No going backwards even when it feels like you are.

I read in DailyOm a few weeks ago, “Once the sun rises, it doesn’t go backward but instead follows its path in one direction. It may appear to stand still for a moment in time or to move more slowly, but it is steadily moving forward on its path.”  Just like our human journey, once we have moved through something, there is no going back.

“When the time is right, the passage of destiny cannot be blocked.” No matter what obstacles I have come up against these past few weeks, I know that what I am supposed to do, accomplish, finish, manifest, or even begin is being Divinely guided and that the Universe holds all those possibilities and potential, even when the way seems unclear and the path ahead foggy.

What to do?

  • Forge ahead with joy.
  • Search out those moments of stillness and peace that refill and restore you.
  • Get excited! Every step, even the little ones, are leading you toward something incredible.
  • Trust that everything is moving in support of your dream – when the time is right, the doors will open, paths will clear, and you will see that everything is leading you exactly where you are supposed to go.

Remember, destiny isn’t something you have to chase… it is something you meet with open arms and a joyful heart.

Keep going gang, let the excitement of what’s ahead lead you right into the magic and mystery of every tomorrow. It is the dream you dreamed about yesterday.

Galloping right alongside ya’all down these happy trails.
