Release, Envision, Let Go, Intend… Welcome the Return of the Light
It was a wonderful time in AZ and hard to say goodbye to my sanctuary there this year. My friend and I took a drive to the mountains to look at some beautiful property that may be for sale if enough folks can be found to put it into a land conservancy and save it from developers. It is rustic, beautiful, views to die for and water. It snows and the sun shines, it is away from “civilization” and waits on the right caretakers to protect it.
A dream probably out of our reach but a dream worth seeing and talking about and visioning and who knows, Spirit works in mysterious ways.
Sitting through the New Moon time and letting go of You First, releasing her out into the world in what ever form she will live was quite an adventure. Disconnecting from her journey as I move into the energy of her big sister, Get Off the Shelf and begin to vision her completion and release, calling in the energy of the coming Full Moon almost complete in the night sky as you read this, a super moon no less, so close to earth as to light up the night sky like a giant flood light.
The energy of the Full Moon and the Winter Solstice, make for a powerful exit out of 2021 and a wonderful driving, positive energy of creation and possibility into 2022.
This is a time of year for the celebration of life as we are invited to open our hearts to the power of truth and hope, of faith and trust. Even in the darkest hours, the light is always emerging, returning.
This week, for me, will be about releasing this past year, it’s gifts and challenges, with gratitude for all it has taught me, for all I have learned, achieved and manifest in my world, even if it was just holding the space for me, for family and for friends to move through the chaos and confusion of “life”, to nurture myself when needed and to lend a hand where I may have seen a hand needed.
I spoke last week about the possibility of gathering the end of this year or first of next year… to circle in virtual time and do ceremony to honor 2021 and celebrate and welcome 2022, to set our intentions for the coming journey around the sun and who we want to be in the returning light of the longer days.

The drive back to CA was filled with beautiful skies and breath-taking sunsets (I’m a night owl not an early bird so it is rare I catch the sunrise). 🙂 Today may be different, I am sitting here at my compute writing at 5:02 am on a Friday morning, cool and getting chilly air flowing in the open window by my desk. I am blessed to have you all to write to and send you all much gratitude and many blessings.

She is a Graduate Teacher and Mentor with the Lynn Andrews Center For Sacred Arts and Training and has been the Administrator and Writers Guide for Writing Spirit, the School.
Vicki is also an Artist of the Spirit Certified Spiritual and Energetic Life Coach, a Graduate Mentor in the AoS program and a founding member of HeatherAsh Amara’s Warrior Goddess Leadership Team and Facilitator of the Warrior Heart Practice.
