SymbolsHave you ever thought about recurring symbols that show up in your life; things like the same bird, or the same animal, or the same letter or number, maybe even the same name?
I had one of those “things that make you go hmm” moments the other day when I was driving home. It seemed like every car license plate that I passed had the letter ‘S’ on it. I’ve never really paid attention to license plates but for some reason I was watching for different states, like where the cars were coming from that were on their way to where I live.
‘S’ is an interesting letter; curvy and soft, it can sound very affirmative, like yes and it can sound antagonistic as in a hiss.
I went back and looked at some of the shamanic art that I’ve done over the years and was surprised to find the essence of the shape of ‘S’ in so many little things that I’ve done; on rock art, on shields and drums, in energy paintings, I even found it woven into the beaded handle of a feather fan, definitely a “hmmm” moment.
My inquiring mind wants to know  the meaning of this symbol ‘S’. Here is a little information I found online…
“S is the letter representing power, victory and the sacrifice made in the name of good. S is strongly linked to integrity, victory and power. It resonates with the energy that represents independence, self-reliance, understanding and philanthropy.
S stands for new beginnings, choices and a high level of energy.”
