Wisdom Comes from Unexpected Sources

When Wisdom ComesThis has certainly been a week of crazy, chaos – phone calls, setting up doc appointments (and my favorite – not – dentist), creating content for a weekend zoom class, writing emails, writing for today, writing podcast content, keeping track of it all and giving the dog a bath. She went down a squirrel hole and didn’t come back smelling so pretty.

As crazy as it can get around here, I am still amazed when I realize that I am supported and guided by helping spirits and divine sources. I am trying to get back into a routine practice of inviting help from the unseen world, but it is a challenge in a world of ‘busy’.

I talk about staying connected (like I have with my cottonwood tree buddy), but it takes daily intent and commitment, not unlike picking up the phone to connect with someone you love, I have to remember to dial up and ask for those beautiful beings of light and love that support my journey here on this earth walk.

I am going to copy to you some inspiration from my friend HeatherAsh Amara. Her email this past week reminded me of a practice that I have let get away as I hit the hay either exhausted or in the middle of some TV show I simply must finish, right?

So, to quote Ash, “Before you go to bed each night ask for guidance on your path, and inspiration for your dreams.”

And I would add – Thank your Helping Spirits and whatever Divine Source you work with in your world. Thank them for their assistance even when you don’t realize they having been steering the wheel on your behalf.

When I remember, I ask my Sacred Twins to help me remember in my dreams, and to help me remember my dreams when I wake.

Simple – Powerful – Spiritual – Gratitude Infused

Gratitude is a way of releasing the day-to-day concerns, giving them over to the Universe, to Creator, and then just get out of the way so these amazing and yet mostly unseen helpers, can work along with us on our behalf.

Key here, is that you have to ask. They are always there, ready, willing, and able to assist you on your journey, but you need to remember to ask and then let go and get on with the day (or your night sleep).

Working with our helping spirits in shamanic journey work is one of the big things we will be doing at the Fall Equinox Event Sept 21-22. There will be shamanic divination journeys, power animal journeys, sacred creativity comes to play as you create a partnership with the rawhide rattle you will be making and we will bring it all together and complete as we do ceremony and work with the beautiful medicine wheel Diane Broussard has built on the land at her sacred sanctuary, the Diamond Springs Center for Healing Arts and Teaching.

If you would like to join myself and Beth Beurkens tomorrow morning for a preview of the weekend, an introduction to us and the program we have planned, consider this your personal invitation to jump on our zoom call at 11:00 am PT (2:00 pm ET) and JOIN our TRIBE.

If you are going to be in the area (near Placerville) or just know you want to be a part of a new community, a growing TRIBE meeting live and in person, I would love to meet you and welcome you to the gathering as we Harness the Superpower of the Fall Equinox to Fuel Your Life.

Do you need a SPARK to IGNITE your DREAM? Then join us in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains in the midst of Gold Country for a weekend of information, inspiration, sacred creativity and self-healing work. GIVE me the LIGHTER

Feeling blessed by this crazy week and looking forward to the journey ahead, I say Happy Trails to you all.
