Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow: Things of My Imagination

Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow_ Things of My Imagination

“Today is the tomorrow I dreamed about yesterday.”

Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow_ Things of My ImaginationHave you ever stopped to realize that right now, in this very moment, you’re living in a day you once imagined? That some of the things you once wished for, prayed over, or dreamed about have actually come to be?

It’s easy for me to get so caught up in chasing the next goal, the next breakthrough, or the next chapter of the next book, you know, life… that I forget to pause and appreciate what has already unfolded.

I know I’ve done this, set my sights on something, visualized it, worked toward it, and then, once I reached it, I quickly moved on to the next thing without fully embracing the beauty of the moment I had just manifested.

When I take the time to reflect, to look back as a way of seeing forward, I see how much my past self longed for the very experience I’m having today. In that realization, I find that I am invariably brought back to gratitude, to the present moment of reflection, and a deep sense of spiritual connection to a Universe that holds all possibilities.

This very moment of realization is proof positive that my thoughts are things and I have the power to mold them into the future I want to live.

Everything I have experienced in my life was once just a thought, a possibility that lived in my mind and heart before it took form in my reality. That’s the power of imagination! I’ve come to understand that my thoughts are not just passing ideas; they are the seeds I plant in the fertile soil of the universe as my imagination brings them into my reality.

When I dream about a future filled with love, purpose, and joy, I am not just wishing for something outside of myself, I am co-creating it with the Divine. Every vision I hold, every intention I set, is shaping the life I will wake up to in the days to come.

And now, here I am, standing in the midst of what was once only a dream.

Today is the bridge between yesterday and tomorrow and I am crossing it now.

If today is the tomorrow I once dreamed of, then I have a responsibility to truly live it. To be here, fully, with my heart open. To recognize the gifts that have already arrived in my life.

The challenge is to stay in today and not get lost backtracking yesterday or wishful thinking into tomorrow. If I’m not careful, I’ll always be chasing what’s next and never fully appreciate what is.

I remind myself that being present is a sacred practice. When I pause and breathe in this moment right now, I feel the connection between my past, my present, and my future.

I see how every prayer, every challenge, and every step I’ve taken has led me to where I am now, and in that awareness, I find peace.

One of the most profound spiritual lessons I’ve learned is that gratitude is the key to receiving more. When I recognize and appreciate the blessings that have already come into my life, I open the door for even greater abundance.

Here is a little food for thought:

  • What dreams of yours have already come true?
  • What prayers have been answered in ways you didn’t expect?
  • What moments are you living now that your past self would have been overjoyed to experience?

When you shift your focus to gratitude, you realize that you are not waiting for life to begin, for the dream to come true. You can see with ‘new eyes,’ that it is already happening, right here and now.

Just as today was once the tomorrow I imagined, the dreams I hold now will shape the future I step into next. That’s the beautiful rhythm of life… always expanding, always evolving.

So instead of just hoping for a better tomorrow, I offer you the opportunity to choose to be intentional about it. Ask yourself:

  • What kind of life do I want to wake up to?
  • What thoughts, beliefs, and actions will lead me there?
  • How can I co-create my future with faith, love, and purpose?

The truth is, I am always shaping my reality. My imagination, my choices, and my energy are crafting the tomorrows I will one day call today, as I remember constantly that what I imagine is real.

So here I am, writing to you in the midst of a day that was once only a dream. And instead of rushing ahead, I choose to pause, to breathe, and to savor this moment with you all.

I remind myself that every moment is sacred and that right now, this very moment, is a miracle unfolding. Today is the tomorrow I once dreamed of, and I refuse to let it pass by unnoticed.

Seeing you all down the happy trails we are dreaming today.
